Morning Announcements

    1. Any 6th or 7th grader who attended the dance line meeting, and want to tryout for danceline, all forms and $35.00 tryout fee are due to Mrs. Gray in the front office by Tuesday, April 25th no exceptions. Tryouts are the week of May 1st.



    1. The 8th grade Send Off will be Friday, May 5th! We will have food, snow cones, airbrush tattoos and face painting, zorb ball races, and our annual 8th grade 3 on 3 basketball tournament.  The cost is $15.00 and includes everything listed plus the send off t-shirt with your name listed on the back.  Please pick up a sign up sheet from Nurse Kitchen or the front office.  All forms and money must be turned in no later than Friday, April 28th.


    1. Boys Basketball Try-outs for the 2017-18 9th grade TCHS boys basketball team will be Monday May 22, 2017 at 3:30 in the TCHS gym. Students must sign up with Coach Brent Rogers by Wednesday May 17th and Students must have an up to date physical with you to give to Coach Weeks when you get to TCHS in order to try out.


    1. All football paperwork is due by Friday, April 28th. Please see Coach Eric Rogers in room 233 if you have any questions.  Late paperwork will not be accepted.


    1. If you would like to purchase an armband for Rescuing Hope, please come by the student window. The cost is $5.00.  The Rescuing Hope Event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 25th at Tuscaloosa County High School football stadium.  Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. the event will begin at 7:00 p.m.


    1. The golf team won the last match of the season to remain unbeaten, defeating Hillcrest and Duncanville. Brady Giles finished 3rd with a 41 and Seth Rogers won individual with a 1 under par 34.


    1. Attention: All math team members if you have your permission form for the McWane Center field trip please bring it to the office first thing this morning.


    1. If you are going on the six flags trip, $43.00 is due to Mrs. Wright by Tuesday, April 25th.


    1. Echols Basketball tryouts will be Monday, April 24th for 7th grade 3:00-5:00, 8th grade - Wednesday, April 26th, 3:00 – 5:00 and 7th and 8th grade Thursday, April 27, 3:00 – 5:00.
