Myrtlewood Elementary
Wins $3,000
Dollar General Youth Literacy Grant
The Foundation’s grant program was extremely competitive and more than 1,800 Youth Literacy grant applications were received. Mrs. Harbin is very excited and honored  that the library won this awesome grant! She can't wait to buy new fiction and non-fiction books for her students as well as instructional resources for her teachers to use during instruction. Myrtlewood is so grateful that a large company like Dollar General gives back to the community by offering grants for libraries.
 Thank you Dollar General!!!!!!!!
Thank you to everyone who came out and showed support as Myrtlewood celebrated turning 50 years old! We appreciate all the volunteers, teachers, parents and students who made the week long celebration a huge success!
