Parents & Students: this year we are continuing to learn and use the principles from the book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens by Sean Covey. We want to develop a common language within our school, and hopefully community, based on the proven principle-based leadership skills found in Dr. Stephen R. Covey's best-selling book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. The 7 principles that not only teens, but people of all ages can benefit from implementing in their lives are:  1. Be Proactive, 2. Begin with the End in Mind, 3. Put First Things First, 4. Think Win-Win, 5. Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood, 6. Synergize, 7. Sharpen the Saw.

If you are interested in implementing these habits at your home as well as here at school, I highly recommend purchasing this best-selling book. It can be read just by the student or by a whole family - everyone will benefit!
