FUNDRAISERS    

The Art Show/Silent Auction is held in February in the school's cafeteria.  There is no charge to attend.  Refreshments are served.  All students participate.   All programs (preschool, multiple disabilities, alternative,  autism) will have work on hand to sell.  We encourage you to come and support this exciting fundraiser as all proceeds will benefit the students at Sprayberry. 

Tailgating with the Stars is our main fundraiser of the year. It will be September 29, 2011 6:00 p.m. at The Zone in Bryant Denny Stadium.  We will have a guest speaker, live music, catered food, and silent auction.   Tailgating with the Stars is a great way to relax, fellowship, and at the same time help the students in need.  More details to come!

We participate in Publix Partners and Box Tops For Education.

 

PROJECTS

PTO is currently working on the following projects: 

Ø  Daily Living Center – Purchasing items such as a couch, stove, kitchen table, bed, dresser, etc to enhance the students abilities of living conditions.

Ø  Robert McLendon Library – Purchasing scanners, books, magazines, listening center etc.  We are preparing to have the library officially opened in mid March 2011.  The library will benefit all programs.

Ø  Art Gallery – We have purchased E Z store and art display cabinets to allow students from each program to have their Art displayed in the Art Gallery each month.

TEACHER/STAFF ACTIVITES

Each teacher including HI, PT, OT, was given $75 - $150 dollars each semester for use in their classroom.  When a teacher ‘s funds are low to purchase a necessary item for their students or all students as a whole PTO will provide the funds.

MEMBERSHIP/DONATIONS

Ø  Membership dues are $10.00 per year.
