I have been the secretary at Echols Middle School since it opened in 2000.  I have worked in the Tuscaloosa County School system since 1990.  Prior to working at Echols, I worked at Charles Sprayberry Regional Education Center, Collins-Riverside Jr. High, and Tuscaloosa County High.

My husband and I moved to Northport, Alabama in 1988.  We have two sons.  Our oldest son and his wife have one daughter and a baby due in August.  Our youngest son and his wife have two sons and a daughter due in June.  We attend Northport Baptist Church where I am a teacher for the creepers class on Sunday mornings and three year old Children’s Choir on Wednesday nights.  I am also a member of the Praise Team, Adult Choir, and Joy Ensemble.  My husband oversees all of the sound equipment for all the church services/programs and is a member of the church orchestra.  My hobby is my family.  I love spending time with my husband, our sons and daughters-in-law, and grandchildren.

        I am the Attendance Para-Educator in the office.  This is my second year at Echols, and I feel very blessed to work with these great employees as well as the awesome students!  My career with TCSS started in 2002, and I spent my first eight years in the CRMS library.

         I recieved a B.A. in Broadcasting from the University of Alabama.  The Taylor family is made up of Matt, 28, a dreamer, Scott, 26, who works at U.A. and is studying electrical engineering, and Katelyn, 24, is a mother, wife and student.  Parker is my almost 2-year-old grandson, and he’s just plain amazing!

Reading is one of my passions, but I also love to travel and ride motorcycles.
