The Career/Technical Education (CTE) program is a rigorous, progressive, and vital part of the total educational system that provides students with life skills and prepares them as a workforce in which business and industry are confident. Core values include:

The Tuscaloosa County School System provides 48 career-technical education teachers within fourteen middle and high school settings. Offered are 11 of The 16 National Career Clusters:  Agriculture, Food & Natural Resources; Architecture & Construction; Business, Administration & Management; Education & Training; Finance; Government & Pubic Administration; Health Science; Human Services; Information Technology; Marketing, Sales & Services; Transportation, Distribution & Logistics; and Work-Based Learning/Cooperative Education.  We are proud of our community stakeholders and partnerships within business and industry in West Alabama.
