  • IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT for 2013-2014 School Year:
    Beginning with the 2010-2011 school year, a dose of Tdap vaccine is required for Alabama students age 11 or older, entering 6th grade. For the 2013-2014 school year, all students in grades 6-9 not previously receiving Tdap at age 11 or older are required to have a Tdap vaccination. For questions, please contact the Immunization Division at 1-800-469-4599.

  •  INOW Parent Portal

     The STI HOME component of INOW is now available for use by parents and students. From this point forward the program will be known as INOW Parent Portal.  To use the program you must first obtain a user name and password, which will be sent home from the school. To access the program, go tohttps://inow.tcss.net/informationnow. For detailed instructions on how to access INOW Parent Portal click here. INOW Parent Portal can be accessed through any device with internet access, including smartphones and iPads.

 The 2013 Summer Enrichment Workshop (S.E.W.) will be hosted at Matthews Elementary School in Tuscaloosa, AL and will be held for three weeks from June 10th to June 28th. The S.E.W. Program allows students in grades K – 8 to learn with peers of similar ability and to engage in academically challenging environments. 2013-2014 School Year Calendar Adopted
      The Tuscaloosa County Board of Education has adopted the school system calendar for the 2013-2014 school year.   The selected calendar is the result of input from TCSS employees as well as the community at large. This calendar adheres to the Flexible School Calendar Act which was enacted in 2012. What Are The Three R's

Faucett-Vestavia Elementary is joining all elementary, middle, and high schools in the Tuscaloosa County School System in implementing the Alabama Positive Behavior Support System.  We have 3 behavior expectations/rules throughout the school:  Be Respectful; Be Responsible; and Be Resourceful/Ready.
