I graduated from Northside High School (Go Rams!) in 1999. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Montevallo in December of 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Communicative Science and Disorders and a minor in Deaf Studies.  Then, I returned to the University of Montevallo to complete my Masters. I earned my Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in May 2006. I hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensure from the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology (ABESPA).

I married my husband, Joe, in 2012. We have a 2 year old son and 3 dogs. I enjoy living on and restoring my family’s 100 year-old home place, playing with my talkative and energetic son, outdoor activities, and spending time with family. I love to read and bake. We attend church in Berry, Alabama.
