Hello, my name is Lynn Corkren.  This is my seventh year as a teacher at Crestmont Elementary, however, it is my 25th year teaching.  I have taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and 6th grade.   I have always loved third grade and I am so excited to work with my Crestmont family. 

 

I graduated from The University of Alabama with a Bachelor's Degree.  I earned my Master's Degree from Troy State University.  I love teaching.  I also love Tuscaloosa.  Roll Tide!

 

My husband retired from education as a principal.  I have four children; three sons, one daughter, one daughter-in-law, and now a new granddaughter.  I love being a "Nana"!  I love to be outdoors.  The ocean is my favorite vacation spot.  I also love to travel.

 

Some of my favorites are: Plants, Birdhouses, Hobby Lobby, Taco Casa, anything Science related, and fun and unique sensory toys.
