My name is Katie Kelbe, and I am a fourth grade teacher here at Cottondale Elementary! I am from Greenville, South Carolina but moved to Alabama to attend The University of Alabama. ROLL TIDE! I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. After graduating, I decided to permanently move to Birmingham, Alabama where I taught first grade for 2 years! This is my first year at Cottondale Elementary and I couldn't be more excited to join such a wonderful school, faculty/staff, and community! 

I am absolutely blessed with my parents, two brothers, and a cute Siamese cat in South Carolina that I go and visit often! In my spare time, I love to travel, read, and watch the latest TV/movies.

I am looking forward to an AWESOME year!
