Read carefully the slides and analyze how to conjugate verbs.  The verb will change forms [endings] depending on who is doing the actions [subject]

the irregular verb ir 

ir = to go      ir a + infinitive =is the near future =going to do whatever the infinitive is 

Yo voy a la escuela.  I go to school.

Yo voy a estudiar para mi examen de ciencias.   I'm going to study for my Science test.

Dar = to give 

estar = to be   used with emtions. locations & changeable conditions.

Yo estoy contenta.   I'm happy/content.      ex of emotion

Yo estoy en casa.     I'm at home.               ex of location

Mi cafe esta frio.      Mu coffee is cold.         ex of changeable condition
