Welcome to Speech!! I am the Speech-Language Pathologist for Crestmont Elementary and Matthews Elementary. I have been serving students in PreK-5th grade at both of these wonderful schools since Fall of 2006. It has been a great honor to serve students at each school. I love working with students to help them become better communicators.
I graduated from Northside High School (Go Rams!) in 1999. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Montevallo in December of 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Communicative Science and Disorders and a minor in Deaf Studies. Then, I returned to the University of Montevallo to complete my masters. I earned by Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in May 2006. I hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensure from the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology (ABESPA).
I was married to my husband, Joe, in 2012.We have 3 dogs and enjoy outdoor activities, like fishing. We also enjoy spending time with our families. My hobbies also include reading, crafting, baking cheesecakes, and learning how to sew. We attend Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Berry, Alabama.
