Parent Power …
There are many ways you can support your child’s learning. Listed below are a few ideas:
¨ Spend a few minutes each evening looking over handouts/homework that your child brings home.
¨ Fill out forms and/or sign forms that need to be returned to school on the next school day.
¨ Ask your child’s teacher about ways that you can assist academically at home.
¨ Monitor your child’s grades on iNOW, and contact your child’s teacher immediately if you see a problem. All of us working together will help your child succeed.
¨ Please give our teachers feedback and attend conferences, parent meetings, and school events regularly.
¨ Help your child stay organized and establish a “winning” homework routine by setting up a study area that is free from distractions.
