Hello!  My name is Lisa Floyd, and I am a third grade teacher at Englewood Elementary.  I have been teaching children for over 20 years!  I have taught kindergarten, third grade, fifth grade, and seventh grade grade during my teaching career.  My master's  degree is in Elementary Education.  I am married and have one child who graduated college from the University of Alabama.  

My goal is to give your child a good education academically as well as prepare them to be well rounded, productive students.  By the end of the school year, I want my students to be ready academically and socially to enter the next grade level. I believe it takes a partnership between the parent and teacher in order to accoomplish this goal.  

I am looking forward to this school year!  Great things are headed our way!
