Huntington Place Elementary School

   My name is Lindsey Fowler and I'm so excited to be a part of the Huntington family as the Library Media Specialist! I have been with the Tuscaloosa County School System for 13 years.  I taught third grade for eight years and fifth grade for five years at Englewood Elementary School.  I'm eager to begin a new adventure as an educator in the Library Media Center.  

   I graduated from The University of Alabama in 2006 with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education.  In 2013 I earned my Master's degree in Library Media Science from the University of West Alabama. I'm also a product of the Tuscaloosa County School System, having graduated from Holt High School in 2002.

   My husband and I have a daughter who will be a fifth grader at Huntington and a son who is starting kindergarten at Northport Elementary.  We love camping, beach trips, ballpark nights, our Northport Baptist Church family, Alabama football, swimming, our dog (Rosie), and our cat (Tom). 

   I'm looking forward to a great school year!
