Rhonda R. Hollister – Assistant Principal
I grew up in Columbus, Mississippi, and graduated from S.D. Lee High School. Then I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Reading/English from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas.
After teaching elementary school for 15 years, I transitioned to middle school and taught Life Science for two years. I served as an Instructional Coach for three years in Tuscaloosa County, serving Duncanville Middle and TCHS. While working as an Instructional Coach, I obtained a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama. I am thrilled to serve as an Assistant Principal at Tuscaloosa County High School. I am happily married to Michael Hollister, a landscaper in town. I have three children; Becca, John Michael, and Landon, a son-in-law, Daniel, and a granddaughter, Ruby Claire. I also have a chocolate lab named Reese.
I look forward to a great year, and as always, GO WILDCATS!!!
