I grew up in Atlanta, GA and attended Stone Mtn High School.  I graduated from The Univeristy of Alabama.  I've taught in Henry County, GA and Baton Rouge, LA.  In 2003 I moved back to Tuscaloosa and I continued my lifelong dream of working in Special Education with the Tuscaloosa County Schools.  I have worked with students who have special needs for over 20 years and truly love everyday of it.  My husband was a Tuscaloosa Sheriff Deputy who was severely injured in the line of duty in 2003.  He is a true miracle from God. We have 2 boys, Pate and Price.
