My name is Lisa Bentley and this is my third year to teach Health Science at the Brookwood Career Tech Annex! I am a BHS alumn and I am so excited to be back home at my alma mater!  I graduated from the University of West Alabama and then began work as a registered nurse at DCH. I spent a couple of years in the trauma surgical intensive care, before discovering my passion for the neonatal intensive care, where I spent the last seventeen years of nursing. I am married to Mark Bentley who is also a graduate of BHS and we have three children that are also fellow panthers. Abby has graduated and now attends JSU, Brooks is a junior and plays football and is on the track team and Beckett is a fourth grader.  In addition to teaching health science, I am the auxiliary co-sponsor, one of two HOSA advisors. I hope to spend as much time as I can giving back and involving myself in other groups and extracurriculars.
