TCSS Team Colors Day, Friday, October 18

  • October is Bullying Prevention Month, and TCSS is excited to celebrate our first-ever Team Colors Day on Friday, October 18, 2019. All TCSS students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to wear your favorite team colors on that day. No matter what color you wear or which team you support, we're all on the same team, against bullying.

In the days leading up to Team Colors Day, schools are focusing on different themes, related to the prevention of bullying. These themes are all tied to BRAVE, Tuscaloosa County School System's new bullying prevention initiative. BRAVE stands for Building Responsibility Through Acceptance, Voice, Empowerment. BRAVE is based on effective collaboration, where studetns are proative participants, and parents, educators, and communities are involved stakeholders to remove harrassment.
