Schoology is used by teachers to post their classroom materials online, communicate with students, and provide a safe forum for students to discuss their ideas and collaborate on projects. It helps students stay organized and it keeps the class connected.
In addition to the student's account, parents/guardians may create their own Schoology accounts. Schoology helps families to become more involved in their student's learning.
The student's Schoology account will automatically contain information about each course they are enrolled in. Your school will provide your student's Schoology log in information.
To create your parent account, you will need an access code from your student's teacher(s). Your teacher will provide this code once school starts. This will allow your parent account to display information about your student's courses.
Here are some helpful links to help you get started using Schoology.
- Create a new parent account using a Parent Access Code provided by your teacher(s).
- Add multiple children to your Schoology account so you can access all of your children's information from one location.
- Compare your parent account to your child's account to get an understanding of how Schoology works for you and for your child.
- The Parents' Guide To Schoology provides a detailed explanation of how to use multiple features within Schoology.
