On Tuesday, December 8, the Sipsey Valley community celebrated the addition of athletics facilities on the campus of Sipsey Valley High School. Currently under construction are three facilities: a field house, a facility for baseball, and a facility for softball and soccer. 

At the groundbreaking ceremony, remarks were given by TCSS Superintendent Dr. Keri Johnson, District 4 Board of Education Member Mr. Don Presley, and Sipsey Valley High School Principal Mr. Dennis Alvarez. Sipsey Valley High School students conducted the ceremonial groundbreaking. 

The facilities were designed by Ellis Architects. Construction is being completed by Harrison Construction. The facilities are set for completion in 2021.
