COURSE DESCRITION: Earth and Space Science is a comprehensive application of all science disciplines with focus on concepts of the universe and its stars, Earth and the solar system, history of planet Earth, Earth’s materials and systems, plate tectonics, large-scale system interactions, the roles of water in Earth’s surface processes, weather and climate, and biogeology; includes integration of engineering, technology, and application of science core ideas. Activities include group and individual projects, discussion, laboratory activities, and presentations.
