Hello Champs!

My name is Mrs. Allen (Mccool).

I am the 6th Grade Social Studies teacher at DEMS!
I graduated from the University of Alabama with
a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education - Social Science.
I am a history nerd to the max! I love anything old, odd, and interesting! 

I am married to my wonderful husband, Russell, and I have an amazing seven-year-old son named Jonah.  We have two dogs, a black lab named Bear, and a husky named Loki.

When I am not teaching, I like to spend my time going to antique stores, thrifting, decorating my house for holidays that are months way, spending time with my family, finding excuses to go out to eat, and hanging out with my friends.  

I love my position here at Davis-Emerson and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to spend this school year with these amazing 6th graders!
