The Alabama Department of Human Resources has received federal approval to distribute Summer Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) benefits to children who participate in the National School Lunch Program and meet other eligibility requirements. In order to receive the benefits, families should complete the Application for Meal Benefits no later than August 31, 2022. 

Students who attend the following schools are automatically eligible for the Summer P-EBT Benefits: Crestmont Elementary, Holt Elementary, Matthews Elementary, and Lloyd Wood Education Center. These schools are covered by the Community Eligibility Provision, which applies to schools in areas that meet certain economic requirements. Families with students at all other schools must complete the Application for Meal Benefits to determine eligibility for P-EBT benefits.
