Schools Receiving Free-of-Charge Meals for All Students for 2022-2023 School Year

  •
The federal government has not extended the program that allowed all students to eat school meals at no charge for the past two school years. Students who do not qualify for free or reduced-price meals will be required to pay for meals in the 2022-2023 school year.

The only exception to this is for schools that qualify through the Community Eligibility Provision, which is a federal program that provides no-charge meals to students in areas that meet certain economic requirements. Under CEP, all students at the following schools will automatically receive breakfast and lunch at no charge for the upcoming school year:
    Crestmont Elementary
    Holt Elementary
    Matthews Elementary
    Lloyd Wood Education Center

Families with students at all other schools must complete a Meal Benefits Application to qualify for free or reduced-price meals this school year. Visit this page to learn more about meal benefits.
