Due to a law enforcement investigation in the area, there will be law enforcement officers present on the campuses of Collins-Riverside Intermediate, Crestmont Elementary, Echols Middle, Lloyd Wood Education Center, and Matthews Elementary this morning. The investigation is not connected to our schools. The extra law enforcement is to provide extra security and support, since these schools are in the general area of the investigation. Once school begins, these schools will operate in lock-out mode, until the investigation concludes. This means no one will be able to enter or leave the school buildings, but normal operations will continue inside the schools. Please speak with your school administrator directly if you have any questions or concerns. TCSS has been in close contact with law enforcement regarding this situation.
