My name is Amy Hinson. I am a second grade teacher at the MAX!   It is hard for me to believe this will be my 21st year teaching and 14 of those years have been here at Maxwell.  I guess the saying is true : "time flies when you are having fun"!!  Teaching at Maxwell has been a wonderful experience. The staff and the children are GREAT!!  I received my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Alabama in 1998 and my Master's Degree from the University of West Alabama in 2004.  My husband Chris is from Duncanville and actually went through Maxwell.  We live in this area and we have two daughters.   Lindsay is attending Duncanville Middle School  and Hannah is at  Maxwell. I love hanging out with my family.  My two girls and husband keep me busy.  When I am not at their softball games we love to follow Alabama football and softball as well as travel.  Teaching is my passion and I cannot wait to start another year of teaching and  building relationships with my new kiddos new faculty!  The Maxwell Family is the BEST!!
