I am David Caddell, a native of Tuscaloosa, AL. I am a graduate of Holt High School and a two-time graduate of the University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE!!!!). The 2019-20 school year marks my 14th year at Echols Middle School and 15th year teaching.  Prior to working at Echols Middle School, I was an assistant band director at Hueytown Middle School and Hueytown High School. My primary instrument is trombone.  I have performed in some local community bands including the Tuscaloosa Winds and the Alabama Winds.   I am currently performing with the Tuscaloosa Big Band. I drink a lot of coffee and enjoy playing trivia.  I also really enjoy a good conversation over a really good meal.
