If you are interested in employment as a teacher, but do not currently hold a valid Alabama Professional Educator Certification, you can review the various pathways to Alabama Educator Certification here. In particular, individuals with a bachelor's degree earned from an accredited institutition with at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA with strong math, science, or foreign language backgrounds are encouraged to apply for open positions in those teaching areas.

All Employee Benefit questions should be directed to the Payroll Department 205-758-0411. 403(b) Plans offered through the payroll process are available to all employees paid by the Tuscaloosa County Board of Education payroll department (including substitutes). A 403(b) Plan is an employee paid benefit.
