Thirteen schools across our district will be serving breakfast and lunch during June 2026, at no cost to families.
Anyone age 18 and under is invited to eat! They do not have to be a TCSS student.

The Tuscaloosa County School System has immediate opportunities for bus drivers. Our New Driver Training Class begins June 2.
These positions are part-time with full health benefits, retirement benefits, and opportunities to work more when you are available!

At the March 26 Board of Education meeting, the Board announced the selection of Sherry Langley as the new Chief School Financial Officer (CSFO) for TCSS.
Mrs. Langley will begin her role with TCSS on July 1.
We invite our incoming kindergarten students and their families to visit your local elementary school on Friday, April 24, 2026, anytime between 8 am and 4 pm.
Children who will be five years of age on or before September 2, 2026, are eligible to enroll in kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year.

TCSS pre-kindergarten pre-registration for the 2026-2027 school year is open until Friday, March 6, 2026.
