2026-2027 Kindergarten Registration

 

Entering kindergarten is an exciting milestone for a student and their family! Children who will be five years of age on or before September 2, 2026, are eligible to enroll in kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year. We are happy to welcome you to TCSS!

We invite our incoming kindergarten students and their families to visit your local elementary school on Friday, April 24, 2026, anytime between 8 am and 4 pm.

This will be an exciting day for our schools to meet their incoming students and families!

On April 24, please bring a copy of the following documents to your local school:

•              Student’s Proof of Birth/Birth Certificate

•              Current State of Alabama Immunization Documentation (Blue Card)

•              Two Proofs of Residency in the Parent or Legal Guardian’s Name – Mortgage or Lease Agreement AND Current Utility Bill (Showing Physical Address)

•              Parent or Legal Guardian’s Photo ID

 If you are unable to visit your school on April 24, you may come to the school on another day to bring the documents listed above. Please bring your student with you, so they can see their new school!

In addition to visiting your school, all incoming kindergarten students must complete online registration. The online registration portal for new students is not yet open. One the portal opens, the links will be posted here.
