ACT for 11th graders, E-Learning Day for 9th, 10th, 12th graders on April 9

On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, all TCSS 11th grade students will take the ACT state assessment at their school. This test is administered to all 11th grade students enrolled in Alabama high schools. All 11th grade students should report to their school at normal reporting time on April 9. 

Due to the testing, all TCSS 9th, 10th, and 12th grade students will participate in an E-Learning Day on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. Students in these grades should not report to school on this day. Schools will provide information about assignments and plans for this day.

Additional Information for 11th Grade Students:

Once testing concludes, 11th grade students may sign out, to continue learning at home for the day. Parents or guardians must provide permission for students to leave campus after the test. Schools will communicate information about sign out procedures.

Buses will run at normal morning and afternoon pick up times for 11th grade students needing bus transportation.

Carryout lunches will be available.
