CSFO Danny Higdon Receives State Honor
The Alabama Association of School Business Officials (AASBO) has selected Tuscaloosa County School System Chief School Financial Officer Danny Higdon as this year’s recipient of the Robert L. Morton Award.
The Robert L. Morton Award recognizes a school business official devoted to excellence in their profession and in serving their community. The award is named in honor of the late Robert L. Morton, former assistant superintendent of administration and finance for the Alabama State Department of Education.
Through this award, AASBO recognizes the dedication that individuals bring to their communities, their profession, and their school district in everyday life. The award recognizes individuals working to make a difference in the lives of their colleagues and setting new standards for themselves and their profession.
Mr. Higdon was joined by members of the TCSS Central Office team for the award presentation.
