Beginning in the 2025-2026 school year, Tuscaloosa County School System is proud to partner with K12, part of the Stride Inc. family, to launch Legends Virtual Academy (LVA)—a full-time, tuition-free online public school for students across Alabama!

Legends Virtual Academy expands access to high-quality public education, giving students across Alabama a new path to success, no matter their zip code. Whether your child needs more flexibility, added support, or a different way to learn, LVA offers a future-ready education built to help them thrive.
