High School Students & Families Invited to WOW Varsity Wednesday, October 2
All TCSS high school students and families are invited to attend WOW Varsity on Wednesday, October 2, from 2 – 5:30 pm at Shelton State Community College Martin Campus, located at 9500 Old Greensboro Road in Tuscaloosa.
At WOW Varsity, students and families will experience fun, hands-on activities to learn about high-demand, high-wage career opportunities in West Alabama. Ninth grade students will attend WOW during the school day with their schools, but all high school students are invited to attend WOW Varsity on the afternoon of October 2 with their families.
Students who attend WOW Varsity will be entered into a drawing to win one of 11 gas cards. Additionally, all high school seniors will be entered for a chance to win a semester of free tuition at either Shelton State Community College or Bevill State Community College.
WOW Varsity is a project of West AlabamaWorks!, in collaboration with the Region 3 Workforce Development Council and the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama.
