Career Development Connections
Career connections are intentionally integrated throughout each learning experience to help students connect classroom learning with real-world occupations. As students explore the farm, they are introduced to careers within the Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources career cluster while learning how science, technology, and problem-solving are applied in agriculture.
Throughout the field trip, students are introduced to careers related to:
- Animal Care and Veterinary Science
- Crop and Plant Science
- Dairy Production
- Entomology and Pollinator Science
- Environmental and Conservation Science
- Farm and Equipment Operations
- Food Production and Distribution
- Forestry and Natural Resources
