    Bio

    I had always dreamed of graduating from the University of Alabama and becoming an educator. At the age of forty-five, my dream became a reality! Please allow me to introduce myself to you and your family. My name is Julia Pate Floyd and I am originally from Gordo, Alabama. In my time away from school, I enjoy spending time with my family and my grandson, Gunner, is a true joy.

    I am thankful to have the privilege of being a kindergarten teacher at Northport Elementary School. As Walt Disney’s famous character, Cinderella, once said, “The dreams that you wish will come true.”
