ExperienceUpon graduation from Auburn University, I taught preschool for two years in Shelby County. I then moved back home to Tuscaloosa and began teaching at Brookwood Elementary where I taught Kindergarten/First Grade resource and inclusion for 3 years and then taught preschool there for 2 years. I then transferred to Northport Elementary and this is my ninth year teaching preschool at NES.
BioMy name is Elizabeth Pressley and this is my 16th year as a teacher. I love teaching at NES! I am originally from the Northport area and I am a graduate of Vestavia Elementary, Collins Riverside Middle, and Tuscaloosa County High Schools - Go Wildcats! :) I received my Bachelor's Degree from the Auburn University in 2002. WAR EAGLE! I live in the Northport community with my husband, Robbie, and our two wonderful children, Mary Lynden and Cooper. I love being a mother and think it has really influenced the kind of teacher I have become and the way I teach my students. I truly love my students just like they are my own! I enjoy teaching little ones and feel so blessed to be a part of their first school experience. Plus, preschool students are so sweet and humorous!! We laugh a lot in preschool! :) My family and I love to cheer on the Auburn Tigers!! I also enjoy reading, traveling, shopping, and being with my family and friends.
