I attended Shelton State Commmunity College for two years and then graduated from the University of Alabama. I received a B.S. degree in Social Science and a Master's degree in Special Education. My first teaching job was at Bibb County High School where I taught Special Education and was an assistant baseball coach and girl's basketball coach. My next teaching job was at Holt High School, where I taught Special Education and was an assistant coach for junior high football and assistant coach for varsity baseball for four years. I next taught at Lloyd Wood Middle School for four years in the area of Special Education. Next, I went back to Holt High School for eight years and taught Special Education. Finally, I came to Northside Middle School, and am in my third year of teaching Special Education and second year of coaching girl's softball.
