I grew up just down the road in Eutaw, Alabama, and graduated from Warrior Academy. I attended Livingston University (UWA), where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.
After graduating from UWA, I married and moved to Arkansas where I got my first teaching job. I have lived in many places since that time and was able to gain 21 years of teaching experience:
- Stanford Elementary, Stanford, Arkansas (5th grade)
- Booneville Middle School, Booneville, Missisippi (6th & 7th grades)
- Tuscaloosa Academy (5th grade)
- Taylorville Primary (Art, 1st & 2nd grade loop, 2nd grade)
I have been teaching for seventeen years. I am currently teaching second grade. I live in Tuscaloosa with my husband Parrish, and three children. Blake is 28, Mackenzie is 23, Chase is 19, and two grandchildren Beau and Sawyer. As a family, we spend a lot of time around the ballparks and the beach. We are either cheering for a team or playing on a team. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, shopping, decorating, and reading a good book. My favorite color is blue. I am a BAMA FAN!
