    Education
         I grew up just down the road in Eutaw, Alabama, and graduated from Warrior Academy. I attended Livingston University (UWA), where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.
    Experience

        

     After graduating from UWA, I married and moved to Arkansas where I got my first teaching job. I have lived in many places since that time and was able to gain 21 years of teaching experience:

    • Stanford Elementary, Stanford, Arkansas (5th grade)
    • Booneville Middle School, Booneville, Missisippi (6th & 7th grades)
    • Tuscaloosa Academy (5th grade)
    • Taylorville Primary (Art, 1st & 2nd grade loop, 2nd grade)

    Bio

     

         I have been teaching for 25 years. I am currently teaching second grade. I live in Tuscaloosa with my husband Parrish, and three children. Blake is 33, Mackenzie is 28, Chase is 24, and two grandchildren Beau and Sawyer.  As a family, we spend a lot of time around the ballparks and the beach. We are either cheering for a team or playing on a team. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, shopping, decorating, and reading a good book. My favorite color is blue. I am a BAMA FAN!
