Bio
Hi! My name is Leta Wilson and I teach 1st Grade at Taylorville Primary!
I grew up not far from here in Coker (a suburb of Tuscaloosa!) and attended Westwood Elementary, Northport Junior High and Tuscaloosa County High (the old one!). After high school I went to the University of Montevallo where I completed my undergraduate and master's degrees. I taught at Vance Elementary for 8 years. I moved to the Taylorville Primary School in 2005 and have been here ever since!! In my 25 years of teaching I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade and been a Reading Coach. My husband Chase is a P.E. teacher at Westwood Elementary. We have two sons, Carson, who is 19 and a sophomore at Mississippi State University and Jon Coleman who is 14 and is a freshman at Hillcrest High School. I enjoy being with my family, spending time at my church, SINGING, watching my boys play sports, and traveling.
