    Bio

Hi!  My name is Shay Singley. I was born in Selma, AL and lived in Grove Hill and Monroeville, AL until finally moving to Tuscaloosa. I attended the Tuscaloosa City Schools and graduated from Central High School. I also attended the University of Alabama and earned  Bachelor and Masters degrees in Early Childhood Education.   I have three precious girls - Kate (19 years old)  Grace (17  years old), and Emma (11 years old).  Kate attends The University of North Alabama.  Grace is a Hillcrest cheerleader and soccer player.  Emma loves Alabama football, Dancing with the Stars, softball, and Taco Casa. They sure do keep me busy and smiling!

I love to read every chance I get, walk, run, plant flowers, and enjoy the outdoors.  Our family enjoys swimming, watching Dancing with the Stars, going out to eat, playing softball, watching Alabama football, and going to the beach! We are members at Calvary Baptist Church. One day I would love to visit Hawaii, Italy, Switzerland and run a marathon.  I would love to add to my bucket list by taking a trip to Waco, Texas and Chip and Joanna Gaines' Magnolia Market from the HGTV show Fixer Upper!

Little known fact:  I once had a summer job working at Walt Disney World!
