My name is Lucretia Prince. I am a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I have two beautiful daughters and a very supportive and loving husband. I am so excited to have the opportunity to come back home where I started my educational journey in 2004. Since that time, I have had the opportunity to serve as an adjunct professor for the University of Alabama as well as the assistant principal at Francis Marion High School and Sipsey Valley Middle School.
I attended the University of Alabama earning a bachelor’s and master’s degree in elementary education, educational specialist degree in education administration, and a doctoral degree in instructional leadership. I am an entrepreneur and the author of two children books. Everyone has a calling and my calling is to impact the lives of children.
As demands and complexities of teaching children increase, it becomes more evident that we must work together to insure that our children reach their potential. We believe that all of us – the school and the community – must work together in an extended family environment to insure success for all of our students. We believe it is everyone’s responsibility to empower and motivate every child to DREAM BIG!
With that in mind, you are invited to be an active participant at Crestmont Elementary School. I invite you be a part of our team. Research on schools clearly demonstrates that parent participation in their child’s school coincides with a greater likelihood of academic success. I look forward to meeting each of you. If you have questions or concerns that arise at any time, please do not hesitate to give your child’s teacher or me a call. I look forward to having a long and rewarding relationship with you and your family.
