Sipsey Valley Middle School, a relatively new school opened August 2010, is located in rural Tuscaloosa County at the intersection of Romulus Road and Sipsey Valley Road. We share a campus with Sipsey Valley High School and serve the Buhl, Coker, Elrod, Fosters, Ralph, and Romulus communities.
Sipsey Valley Middle School currently serves around 385 students in sixth-eighth grade. Students take four core curriculum classes, math, science, English, and social studies, as well as physical education. Elective courses in art, band, chorus, technology, Creative Expressions, Career Explorations, Global Studies, Math Strategies, Reading Strategies, and School Publications are also offered. Lastly, our highest achievers participate in the STEAM program, and all students can participate in a variety of athletics, clubs, and organizations.
