    Hi! I am Ashleigh McMurry.  I am from Hueytown, AL. I graduated with Honors from the University of Alabama in May of 2011 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I have been married for six years. We have a daughter named Mila Jo. We just built a new home in Helena. This is my tenth year to teach First Grade at Brookwood Elementary. I love teaching children and inspiring them to become leaders.  When I'm not at school, I enjoy shopping, reading, fishing, and spending time with my family and friends. I am excited for another fabulous year at Brookwood Elementary!
