    Bio
    I am thrilled to be teaching English at Hillcrest for the eighth year!  I grew up in a military family, and we were stationed in 5 states before I settled in Tuscaloosa for college--and never left! I am a proud graduate of the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!) and love cheering on my Hillcrest Patriots on Friday nights and the Crimson Tide on Saturdays!  When I'm not teaching or attending Hillcrest events, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, watching Camden play baseball and football, boating, cooking, coming up with more cheesy things to say in class, and serving at my church.
