Hello! I am Michelle Spencer-Beale, native of Tuscaloosa, graduate of Central High School.  I attended the University of Alabama for two years, then transferred to Stillman College to study and participate in the renowned Stillman College Choir and Music program, graduating with a degree in Elementary Education.

I've worked in the Tuscaloosa County School System 21 years. I'm very excited to be a part of the Cottondale Elementary School team.

I enjoy reading, traveling, shopping, piano, yoga and spending time with family and friends.   

I owe it all to my mentor, my motivation, my spirit and inspiration: my mother and best friend, Dr. Barbara V. Spencer (retired Deputy Superintendent, 49 years at TCSS). I love you Mom!
