    David W. Patrick Professional Biography

    Mr. Patrick is a life-long resident of Tuscaloosa. He attended the University of Alabama with a Master's Degree in School Administration and AA certification in Educational Leadership.  

    Mr. Patrick has 39 years of experience in education as a teacher and administrator. He has worked 30 of those years in the Tuscaloosa County School System as an assistant principal at Brookwood Elementary, Brookwood High, and Northside High. He was then promoted to be the principal at Northside High and for the last two years, has served as the Director of Federal Programs.

    Mr. Patrick served as the District Five Principals' Association President for two terms and was elected to serve on the Council for Leaders in Alabama Schools (CLAS) Board of Directors for four terms.  During these sixteen years on the CLAS Board of Directors, he was elected to the CLAS Executive Board three times. Mr. Patrick is looking forward to working together to continue the progress being made in the Tuscaloosa County School System in his new role as Deputy Superintendent.
