     Welcome to my class!! I am Jennifer Ray and I am beginning my 18th year teaching. I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2005 with a degree in elementary education and special education from the Multiple Abilities Program.  I taught 3 years at Hillcrest Middle and 4 years at Duncanville Middle, 9 years at Faucett-Vestavia, and so excited about my second year at NIS!!!!
    I have been happily married to my husband, Jim, for almost 27 years, and we have three children, Caroline, Hayden, and Mason. Jim is the Training Chief for the City of Tuscaloosa Fire Department, Caroline and her husband, Jackson, live in Tuscaloosa.  She is a 2nd grade teacher at Verner Elementary. Hayden and his wife, Shelby, live in Northport.  He is a firefighter for the City Of Tuscaloosa. They have just given us our first grandchild, Millie, and she has stolen our hearts.  Our youngest, Mason (17) is a Senior at TCHS, and loves to play baseball and football. We are very active in our church, enjoy attending TCHS sporting events, watching and traveling for baseball, and LOVE watching the Crimson Tide play, ROLL TIDE!!!
