I was born and reared in Tuscaloosa.  I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics - General Studies and Home Economics Education, with a minor in Fashion Merchandising at the University of Alabama.  I was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority.  I currently teach Event Planning, Family and Consumer Science, Reach, Nutrition, and Child Development.
